facts
This was the first car i’ve ever bought new.
I’ve only changed the clutch once so far.
I am still running on the same engine.
I’ve never changed the shocks (or struts, whatever)
I’ve only replaced the radiator once.
I’ve put in 3 new timing belts (1 every 90,000 miles)
In the past 7 years, I’ve only gone 100,000 Miles.
I’ve almost gotten in about 7 accidents changing lanes...lesson to you reading this, please look over your shoulder, it saved me!
Driving in reverse actually does move the odometer forward!
to arrive at our destination on March 22nd with exactly 300,000 miles, i rollerbladed 8 miles in the final week in order to achieve our goal (don’t laugh, at least I was going green).
If you’re wondering about my car’s name, it’s in part because we are both huge L.A. Kings fans. Former Kings player and Hall of Famer, Luc Robataille’s nickname was Lucky, so I kind of borrowed it.
Since putting the kings logo on the back of my car in 1994, they haven’t even been close to making it back to the stanley cup finals.
